Kasumi (霞) is the Japanese word for mist — the soft haze that hovers over water at dawn, the gradient between sky and earth that has no hard edge. It's the right name for this vase. The glaze doesn't end. It dissolves.

The Kasumi Stoneware Vase is hand-thrown ceramic with a sculptural teardrop silhouette and a reactive glaze finish that shifts like atmosphere — fired individually, which means every piece varies naturally. What you receive is genuinely one of a kind.

Available in two colorways:

  • Kasumi White & Sage: Soft matte white dissolves into layers of celadon and sage green, settling at the base like still water. Meditative, cool, and quietly alive.
  • Kasumi Earth & Plum: Warm terracotta at the shoulder bleeds into deep slate and dusty violet. Ancient-feeling. Like something excavated, not manufactured.

Both are beautiful empty. Both are extraordinary with a single dried stem.
